We can characterize the study as systematic, aimed activity whose goal is to gain knowledge, experience, skills or generally acquiring knowledge.

Bachelor study is a study provided by universities lasting usually for 3 years. It is a study with lowest level of university study in so called structured system of study. After graduating the student obtain title bachelor (Bc.). The first year of study is usually common and in summer semester student chooses from one of fields offered in which he/she continues from the second year. When passing successfully the entering tests students are divided into study groups. These groups attend the lectures together. And in the second year of study groups change according to the field chosen.     

Bachelor study is ended after passing bachelor exams successfully. Topics are determined according to the filed chosen. But before going for the bachelor exams the student has to write bachelor thesis and defend it when bachelor exams are proceed in front of examining committee. To attend bachelor exams the student must have all subjects of all 3 years finished.  

I ma Slovak studying at university and I try to get you closer to bachelor study from my point of view.  The reason why I have chosen study at Czech university is that Czech universities have very good credit worldwide. When I was passing the entering tests at Slovakian universities I found out that Czech universities are much more ahead than Slovak ones. Theoretical things are mentioned above. Now I would like to focus on practical ones. When starting university study the man has to realize that here nobody will push him to do anything. The man is responsible for himself and nobody pushes him to do anything as it was at elementary or high school. He must take care of himself, be initiative and will to give something up. Without this he cannot finish the university successfully. But the university study is not only school but also fun which cannot be experienced anywhere else. To be accommodated at residential halls is a beautiful life. I am the student of the third year of the Faculty of Economics and it is the most wonderful period of my entire life.       

Combined bachelor study

 Combined form of bachelor study is not providing daily and is not necessarily connected with teacher's watch. It is based on planning, counseling and lectures called tutorials. The characteristics of this form of study are independence or education autonomy. Because of these reasons especially employed people like this form.  

We can characterize this form as multimedia form of study in which the pedagogues are separated from students (because participating at tutorials is not obligatory but only suggested).

Within this form of study all kinds of communication means are used by which study can be provided and presented. The main object of education process is a student and the main subject is educational institution - not pedagogue.
