What is cover note and motivation letter?

     Cover note

If you got interested in labour offer you probably would react on it. Cover note is a part of your reaction together with CV and other enclosures demanded. You would express your interest in this offer and the reason of your interest. Our advice is not to use one cover note for all answers you would send; each cover note should be unique. The most often this cover note would be like email; short, only few rows.

    Motivational letter

    General characteristics

A motivational or cover letter is enclosed to the curriculum vitae and sent to the potential employer. It refers and points out the qualities of the applicant for the particular working position he/she is applying and is intended to increase the employer's interest to invite the applicant for an interview. The same curriculum vitae can often be used for more working positions, however, the cover letter cannot. It has to be goal-directed, short and formal.

    Entrance Interview

    General characteristics

Everybody will probably have to attend an entrance interview before he/she is employed. Therefore it is good to know beforehand what such an entrance interview means and what questions the applicant can expect. It is even more effective to try to generally practice such an interview, should it be within the scope of a tutorial organized by your consulting centre or as a part of the dialogue with your vocational advisor.

    Curriculum Vitae (CV)

    General Characteristics

It is a brief and clearly arranged (structured) document summarizing the education obtained and previous experience. It provides the prospective employer as immediate information about the applicant. It is usually accompanied by a so-called letter of motivation or covering letter, whose purpose is to engage the prospective employer's attention and complement the CV with more detailed information related to the current situation or to the position the individual is applying for.

    Lifelong learning

By lifelong learning such as education is meant, which enables participants to gain knowledge, complete, deepen, renew knowledge, qualification a professional competence to perform specialized activities.

Graduates of medical faculties, general practitioners and dentists have lifelong learning governed by their basic obligations. The Czech Medical Chamber provides control regularly; doctors must be obligatory its members.
